About Me

This project was inspired by my first glimpse of the mountains, nearly ten years ago. Every day since then my direction in life has revolved around outdoor adventure.

From its inception, the purpose of Studio 521 has been to create and deliver fine art products that showcase the rugged beauty of the Kootenays. By sharing these photographic experiences, I hope that these representations of nature inspire a connection to our environment, and stoke the fire of mountain adventure.

When I look back at my intentions for Studio 521, the most salient concept I had was to use this platform to help people connect to where they live.

From craggy peaks to glacial waters, I offer landscape photography of both iconic and hidden corners of Western Canada in celebration of our surroundings.
